Steve sujakhuBorn and raised in the historical city of Bhaktapur, Nepal , Steve began creating pop, rock, and blues-rock at the young age of 12 with Dire straits , Santana , CCR , Bob Marley, and Nirvana as his influencers.

Steve’s first song “Chhoilla Kachilla”, produced by his cousin, became a national hit in his native country. His music career began with the signing of his music contract with Nepalese music label, SAV.

Steve then migrated to New York in 2006 to pursue recording. Like many NYC artists, Steve moved back to Nepal when the costs of NYC were overwhelming. He recorded six more songs in English, then returned to NYC again three years ago.

Steve is now number 10 on the ReverbNation Pop charts for New York City and “I Love Myself” is quickly climbing in popularity. My personal favorite is “Broken“.

“Music gives me power to do good things. When I listen to music, I am emotional. From emotionality, creative ideas flow.”

Steve’s latest song titles include:

  • I Love Myself
  • Better Life
  • Somebody Lies
  • Long Journey
  • Why is that
  • Broken

Inspired by pure passion, ambition, and music in his blood, Steve plays guitar, writes his own lyrics, and sings in between finding joy and making meaningful contributions to society. Steve credits his family for their support and motivation.
